Gentech: The economic significance and feasibility of the helium recovery and circulation solution
The 2020 China Electronic Materials Industry Technology Development Conference, jointly hosted by the China Electronic Materials Industry Association, the Fifth Research Institute of Electronics of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Guangzhou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and the Huangpu District People's Government of Guangzhou, was successfully held in Huangpu District, Guangzhou from December 3rd to 5th, 2020. The conference aims to exchange the latest and leading new technologies, developments, and applications in the field of electronic materials, and explore new opportunities and challenges faced by the industry.
Ms. Shi Yun, General Manager of the Electronic Materials Expansion Division of Zhengfan Technology, mentioned in her speech that the heat conduction medium used in the fiber sintering process and the helium gas used for cooling in the drawing process are currently directly discharged or discharged after entering the exhaust gas treatment system, resulting in a huge waste of helium resources. And our country is a helium poor country, relying mainly on imports for helium, with a self-sufficiency rate of less than 1%. China's fiber optic manufacturing capacity accounts for over 50% of the global total. The recycling and reuse of helium gas is of great significance for resource conservation and supply guarantee. Taking the fiber optic industry as an example, the helium recovery and circulation system developed by Zhengfan Technology adopts advanced separation and purification technology to recover and purify the helium in the exhaust gas of the preform process, and recycle it.
At present, Zhengfan Technology's helium recovery and circulation solution has been validated by multiple customers at home and abroad, with a purity of over 99.999% and a helium recovery rate of over 70%. The purified helium gas is directly reused in the preform synthesis process, significantly reducing the customer's raw material costs and achieving efficient reuse of resources.
Zhengfan Technology has been deeply involved in the fields of high-purity gas and chemical transportation, as well as electronic special gas purification for more than 20 years. Based on the process medium supply system, it has formed six core technologies including high-purity material synthesis and separation purification, key process material regeneration and circulation, and extended to the front and back ends of the industry chain, achieving coordinated development of four major businesses from high-purity electronic gas materials, high-purity process medium transportation and supply systems, MRO to regeneration and circulation solutions.
